I remember coming across a website that would pay for piano ivories and ebony keys, but I can't find it again. If I can sell my piano parts, I think I'll make more money than attempting to sell the piano. (I doubt anyone would buy it.) Just wondering if I can sell pieces of my piano and where. It was built in 1922.

I'm surprised someone would be willing to pay for these "spare parts" given that ivory keys are individually matched for shape, color and thickness - making them really only good for spot repairs and a lot of trouble at that. I have found people involved in crafts that like the ivory or even just old piano parts for their projects, but I've never been offered money for them other than the cost of labor for removal.

I'd be very careful how I dealt in real ivory...
A piano dealer in Atlanta got in a lot of trouble and plead guilty to importing ivory that was on old piano keys.
Since the price of scrap metal is so high now, the cast iron harps might be worth scraping.

Since the price of scrap metal is so high now, the cast iron harps might be worth scraping. That's a good point. It's borderline for all the work involved to remove it and haul it, but if you've got the tools and the time, it is a good recycling effort.

Some DIYers might pay for a box of random parts to get an old piano going enough to have fun with it, but you won't get much. I paid $20 for a good sized box once on ebay. To me its been a goldmine but there were parts from numerous pianos and so I was able to pick and choose the stuff I needed that fit my piano which wouldn't be possible if the parts were all from one piano.
