That's a better piano sound than in many keyboards out there, namely the Korgs and Kurzweils, specifically the SP170/250 and the Triple Strike piano samples. I have a Casio PX330 that I find I feel sometimes defensive about since Casios get such a bad rap (not just around here). I agree that nothing's perfect. Where one dp might be lacking in touch, it might shine in tone or vice versa. I experiment with layering different tones and find that I can often come up with a great sound for different pieces. Sometimes I'll even layer 2 or 3 pianos together (ie: Pianoteq, the onboard Casio and a piano from one of my sound modules. I especially liked the guitar piece you did. Sandy

I tailored one of the classical piano sounds to my liking and only use that one setting. I'm very pleased overall with the 620. I think that either a good set of headphones (I have the Bose QC-15) or external powered monitors (I have the M-Audio BX5-A) are necessary to fully appreciate the sound, since the onboard speakers are inadequate.
