I trying to decide between a new Shigeru Kawai SK2 5'10" or a 2005 Sauter Delta 185 5'11". Both pianos are about 40K with a pianodisc installed. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

This is an interesting one and not really a versus because they're both wonderful. My fingers find their best groove with the Sauter action so I have that bias. But action response to a human touch may be irrelevant if you're mainly going to have a player mechanism do the work. Which one do your ears like better?

Since a new Sauter would be far more expensive than the Shigeru, if you prefer the Sauter, you could have a great bargain because you hit the sweet spot in terms of age(possibly still close to showroom new but having suffered the first few years of big depreciation) in buying a used piano.

OTOH if you prefer the Shigeru there's no point in buying the Sauter just because it would be much more expensive if brand new.

Two very different pianos. If you like those two AND have $40k to spend why not check out another 50 or so pianos that fall in between the two sound-wise and touch wise?
There are a lot of great pianos out there in your price range.
If you need to ask for advice on two pianos that are so different, perhaps the best advice you can get is to take your time and play a lot of different pianos giving yourself a chance to really define your own tastes.
Good luck.
