The Digital "price paid" reports thread has been around since October 2006. In that thread, members have posted information about their digital piano purchases. New/prospective buyers have found this information useful. To make future postings more consistent, I created a template (see below) for all new entries.

The moderator and I have agreed:
1. To use this new thread (the one you're now reading) for all new/future "prices paid" postings. Use this one for all new postings.
2. To urge members to use the provided template for their entries.
3. To maintain the old thread as-is. (Here's the OLD PRICES PAID THREAD)

Please Note: Piano World has nothing to do with the prices paid posts. Most dealers/shops are just trying to make an honest living. To stay in business they must maintain a certain percentage profit margin or they will go out of business.

Occasionally you may see a price quoted that is extremely low compared to other examples for the same product. There can be any number of reasons for this, including but not limited to:
- Dealer is no longer going to carry this line of products
- Instrument is a rental return
- Instrument has been used for demo purposes for too long and has picked up a few dings
- Instrument was a trade in (but dealer does carry the brand)
- Instrument was a trade in (and dealer does not carry the brand)
- Instrument has some blemishes/damage
