I bought a Brodmann grand from Norbert at Heritage Pianos one year ago. Not only is it a beautiful instrument( Macassar wood with blonde wood inlays)it is very satisfying to play. The action responds to the slightest touch but it is also capable of delivering a thunderous tone when called upon. Norbert was right on when he so highly recommended this Brodmann grand to me. In my eighteen years of teaching piano I have never had such enthusiasm from students about the piano! Bravo,Norbert and Brodmann.

Wow. I like that timber and finish. So much better than black. While I've wanted a piano for along time and finally have one, I'd never hankered after a grand (out of my price range, nowhere to put one and, fundamentally, wasted on me) ... but I'd love one of those.

A beautiful piano! Though I'm not sure I like the racing stripes... Rick

I really like the stripe. Is it inlay or paint?

This is great to hear. I just bought a Brodmann PE187 from Pianocraft and it will be delivered Thursday. I don't have the space and I don't play well and I don't care!
My grad student daughter is taking my couch and coffee table and the cats can sleep elsewhere.
First things first.

"...I don't have the space and I don't play well and I don't care! My grad student daughter is taking my couch and coffee table and the cats can sleep elsewhere. First things first."
A player after my own heart. Dump the couch; kick that nasty entertainment center to the curb; remove the television to some other room. However, bookshelves don't take up much floor space and help the acoustics.
That old Russian proverb seems to fit: "If you want money, buy a new purse." In other words, if you want something in your life, make a place for it--- a nice place, where it will feel at home.

For those enjoying to look at some less common finishes, Brodmann also makes these, alas by special order only: http://www.pianoworld.com/Uploads/files/IMG_2149.jpg A brand new grand called V188 will reportedly be shown at the upcoming NAMM show: http://www.pianoworld.com/Uploads/files/BrodmannV188.jpg Not knowing much about this piano, but quite curious. Finally, the new 9' concert grand with designation "made in Germany" by Steinberg company in Thuringia: http://www.brodmann-pianos.at/428.htmlNot meaning to 'plug' - just latest news involving NAMM show for those at all interested. Apparently the new 9' grand will be used in a number of concerts on main stage in large piano exhibition area. Norbert

As I recall was their a few pianos a the NAMM show going back a few years that featured pinstripe inlay and 2 tone colored woods? I think one was Hailun, Schimmel Konzert Grand.. the Schimmel is a beauty! http://www.pianowerkes.com/sites/pianowe...460_prplbrd.jpg
