This is rudimentary, but it was helpful to me this week and I hope it's helpful to someone else. This is some guidance in naming the form of music. It is from my independent study:

"When a phrase is repeated in sequence, mark the same letter again but add Seq (for example A, then A Seq). When a phrase is repeated with some other type of change, mark the same letter again with a subscript (for example A, then A1)."

(I don't know how to type subscripts. Imagine the 1 above is smaller and lower.) smile
