Subwoofer speaker a must with this one!

I would guess the larger Pipe organs can go the lowest of all instruments. Am I right?

I recall reading up a pipe organ that had a lowest pitch of 8hz. Apparently you could not really hear it, but it was felt strongly like everything was vibrating strongly.

The 16' organ low C is 32 cycles consequently, low C at the 32' length resonates at 16 cycles. There has been 1 or more organ with a 64' pipe. That would be 8 cycles. You really can't tell the pitch at the 32' length, it just adds tuned thunder. There is also the resultant tone obtained when you play a 16' C pipe and a coupler also plays the higher fifth. It sounds to many like a 32' pipe.
Hope this wasn't too boring. But it takes a spectacular woofer to reproduce 16 cycles. Our ears can be fooled to think that we hear fundamental bass tones, when it is really other harmonics .
