I'm in need of one to verify a piano's integrity before purchase and would certainly appreciate a recommendation. I know that I can use the ptg.org site to find one but was searching for a recommendation nonetheless.

The LA area is crawling with good techs, but it is a big area known for traffic problems. Many techs would not be interested in sitting in an hour of slow moving traffic back and forth for the nominal fee of looking at a piano.

I suggest calling a few techs in your vicinity and "interviewing" them about your situation.
