Any advice in playing this type of music on piano.
Anyone on this forum play this type of music?
I have been listening to alot of genesis and yes lately and would love to play like those guys.
Douglas.

I don't know really. I'm not that technically proficient at piano. I know most chords and inversions.
Maybe just learning a few common progressive rock chord progressions would help.
Songs like "watcher of the skies" by genesis is pretty cool.
Thanks for replying.
Douglas.

The intro to Firth of fifth is pretty cool to play, i used to play that, but i don't remember how to anymore. It's good training for right hand arpeggios and left hand octaves.
