Rick, your beauty is a C7B, a 7'4", but it sure plays, looks, sounds and maybe feels and smells great too! laugh

Sounds great! It's hard to get much better than that, if you ask me! laugh

My C7 may not sound quite that good, but close! smile

I've been wanting to ask this for ages:

Can you people really tell anything from these recordings? Do you have super speaker set-ups? All I have is the little speakers that came with my computer, and I can hardly tell this C7 from an old honkytonk upright.

So I rarely bother to click on the links you people provide. Tell me I'm not alone in this. smile

If you use any kind of headphone/earbud you will get a much more accurate reproduction of the sound.

with the high quality of sound available on the interweb (e.g. iTunes, spotify, youtube etc.) it behooves one to upgrade to an external sound system (or as ape suggests, get some decent headphones). lots or reasonably priced satellite systems from e.g. logitech. i happen to have a JBL satellite system w/subwoofer for my primary PC.

I have an old honkytonk upright too! laugh

But I can assure you there is a huge difference between the C7 and my saloon piano. laugh

Rick

*Edit* I've gotten more views (23,936) on my YouTube video of me playing my saloon piano than I have of any of my videos playing my C7... is there a message/lesson in that somewhere? laugh

I'm not sure I could actually afford it to begin with. (At least my husband doesn't think so.) frown

you are a great uncle.. C7s are fantastic instruments.... maybe throw in a vintage oriental carpet, (heck it could be a knock off from Sam's Club) to absorb some of the brightness too.

What does a new C7 retail for, and what is the "do not go below" price for the dealer? I might buy one soon!

My guess, not knowing the US prices well: 40-50k.
