Apologies that this has probably been answered before, I just couldn't find it.

Is there a list somewhere of the models of "sustain" pedals which support half-pedaling? (i.e. pedals which have a Tip-Ring-Sleeve connector) I'm using PianoTeq, which does SUPPORT half pedaling. I know the Yamaha FC3 does, but there's a bit of wire swapping involved if using a non-Yamaha keyboard.

Thanks,
Stewart

I believe the Korg DS1H and Roland DP-10 are half damper pedals, but only work with compatible keyboards.

Roland DP-10 is quite nice. It depends on which keyboard you have if the polarity is right or wrong. Some of them have a setting to reverse it.

Thanks for the replies. Compatibility isn't really a factor; I can always re-assign the MIDI in Mainstage or worst case, rewire the pedals.

Yes, the Roland DP-10 supports half-pedaling. They even go one step further. There's a switch to change it from continuous to switch, in case you ever need it to control an on/off effect. Plus, sometimes if you're doing MIDI recording, the continuous data gets impossible to edit. Nice to have the option.

I believe the M-Audio SP-2 supports half-pedaling, plus it has a polarity switch. It's my back up, so I haven't tested the half-pedaling capabilities, but I can say it's great when you don't know what brand board you'll be plugging it into.
