Gotta work harder, Broker!

I wonder if the dispersion of light parallels actual piano sales in any way.
Turandot, you're reading it wrong. The California circles are the largest.

jazzwee buddy,

You're right, but one circle sweeps over the Pacific. I guess there are a lot of members on Catalina and the Channel Islands

We have the arc, to be sure, but we don't have the brilliance...I mean the density that BDB so eloquently pointed out.

Regarding those more than 2000 Chinese visitors, I wish there was just one member in China who would post here regularly.

Frank:

Did you know that, early in the school year, a fellow student tapped me on the shoulder after introductions and tentatively asked "Excuse me, but are you the Piano Trucker that posts on Piano World?"

The Pope in fact does play -- an upright Steinway (unlikely a NY Steinway -- most likely a Hamburg).

I was skeptical about the hegemony of the Steinway C&A program until I read this. They go right to the top. laugh

Frank -- A "party"? I was under the impression that gatherings of piano players/lovers were referred to as . . . well. . . "gatherings".

Oh man... I guess none of them are Belly Dancers either, as I've never gotten a hit on my page from there either...

I mean, what *else* would they do with their spare time, they don't play pianos and they don't Belly Dance. Must be a dull existence... laugh

On the contrary! Singapore is actually number 7 on the list, which is amazing for such a small country. There must be a strong correlation between country's ranking on the Piano World List and it's GDP and standard of living.

And now for the countries that are truly missing:
Somalia
Burkina Faso
Mauritania
Congo (Brazzaville)
Liberia
North Korea

Any others?

Oh wow! I think I have my own dot!

Surprised Japan isn't higher on the list considering how wired and into pianos the Japanese are.

Slow down and do it right.

Could it be possible having a world map showing the user's density, like the one you posted with the USA members?
Sorted by continents, maybe? smile

As I have no idea about the amount of work a map like this would need, if it's something difficult to get just ignore my suggestion.

Merry Christmas!
