Can somebody please explain how to add an attachment to a post. In the FAQ it says use File manager, but i don't see it in the post screen.
Thanks

You can't just add attachments as you might with email. You have to upload your image or other file to a web-accessible service, figure out the URL to access that file, and then use that URL to link to the file in your post (using "Enter an image" for a picture that will appear inline in your post or "Create a link to a web page" for other types of files that will appear in your post simply as active links). Some folks have their own web sites or youtube channels where they can load content for linking from their posts. Or you can use one of the free cloud sharing services like box.net or dropbox.com. Pianoworld itself has a limited facility for uploading pictures for eventual use in your posts. IMO, it's a bit awkward to use and not really more convenient that one of the external sharing services. Here's a link with instructions and the form for uploading if you want to give it a try.

I don't think there are attachments, but if you use the "reply" button at the bottom of the last post you'll get a screen in which to post, and above the posting space there's a series of buttons - a smiley button, a links button, e-mail, image, and media, along with some fonts, etc. You can use those to enter links or embed you-tubes or whatever.

thanks anyway Just as well. That's probably still under copyright and it would have been taken down any way But it takes me about 5 minutes if I use my box site. You must be a busy man Cathy
