I realize that there are no posts about medieval music. This matter has to be solved. We can find lots of songs in the collection called Las Cantigas de Santa MarÃa (about 400), written in the XIII century. Now days, some ensembles have made several instrumental variations about these songs. Here’s a good example from the cantiga No 166:
Well spotted Recaredo, medieval music had indeed been overlooked. Here is some more to help rectify the situation, Hope you enjoy. This is obviously what you had to do before pianos were invented. Which would raise in my mind the question: so when pianos were invented, is there any interpretations of this music for just piano?

Here we go Recaredo, just two, but they show the complete dissasembly needed to get to the heatsink, which on this laptop was completely blocked up wit fluff and debris....
The symptoms of which are your laptop getting hot on top especially next to the touchpad to the left of the touchpad.
A blocked heatsink will render the heatsink very inneficient at dispersing the heat from the CPU, this will eventually lead to unexpected shutdowns, excessively high cpu usage readings, terrible performance, and if left, will trash the laptop.
Hoovering from the outside is especially helpfull, if you have a good hoover with a tube type end, use it where you laptop "blows out from" dont have laptop switched on though while you are doing it.
but on this occasion, knowing that the cpu had got over hot, I needed to check the thermal grease between the cpu and the heatsink, and its a good job i did...
good view of heatsink arrangement... the silver grill on the end of the copper is like a radiator, and the panels are so close together debris that your fan sucks in will soon block it....bad.
Intriguing that you have a past copy of New of the World there. The newspaper (well, no real news) that shut down owing to its poor relationship with the truth and its invasion of privacy activities (and here in London its far-too-close relationship with a couple of alleged murderers was also an issue).

I am not posting right now because I'm doing vacation things! I may post a few things later. It depends on how may piano practice goes today.
I have been looking forward to some quality piano practice time, and I am working on Claire de Lune. My piano teacher assigned it to me to work on this summer while he is on leave. It's far more advanced than anything I've played. So I have a lot of work to do
Indeed carpus, we are keeping that copy of the news of the world as an artifact. No not really, a few folk save their newspapers for me, mainly because I seem to fix things on the floor, I know this is a bad habbit ( no nun intended) but I always work on the floor, i sit on the floor given a choice, I suppose it comes out of insecurities about not having too far to fall or something.
Griffin, you really are enjoying your vacations!!
will post some more music later, right now, I almost understand something in the music programme, almost, mostly, nearly.

Rostosky, excellent idea to post Messe De Notre Dame. I have a recording of it that I have listened to at least a hundred times. Concerning playing it on piano, I think it would sound much better with a baroque organ sound, if you have that on your DP. I have the score for the Agnus Dei part, written in modern notation in bass and treble clef, and I am going to try it.I am sure you will find what you need on the net.
Excellent Idea cubop, yes I do have a baroque organ or six on the music programmes as well as dp.... will look for original notation as well, I find that interesting... will also post some more tommorrow, as i am very tired right now... night all sleep well dudes and dudettes...........

Hi Wayne! Caire de Lune is a very beautiful piece. I first heard it when I was in high school and my piano teacher played it for me and told me she wanted me to learn it...after I successfully learned to play something even more difficult sounding, "Malagueña!" I never got to learn either. I was in my senior year at high school and when I graduated I left home to go to college. After about 3 years of piano teachers in college, I drifted away from piano studies all together.
Last spring I found a teacher I felt comfortable working with. After he tested me out on several things he decided to assign Claire de Lune. I was thrilled. My biggest challenge for me is patience. I have no idea how long it takes me to learn new things.
We can have threads about painting fingernails, dogs, and ghosts, but god forbid* a intelligent conversation exist on this . . . what's this thing called again . . a forum? What did that guy Volataire say? . . . Ah, who cares, here is my last post of the night.

I don't know why this group kept coming up in my mind after I heard Rossy's posting. Cantus is a local male vocal ensemble that does wonderful a capella music. This post will be Cantus singing the Dave Matthews Band song "Gravedigger" it was arranged by Cantus bass, Timothy C. Takach.
