I am interested in a Yamaha M305 from private party (purchased in 1992 and one owner only). The price is 1,000. But Music Rack is broken and also the when the fallboard is folded in to expose the keys, the fallboard won't stay. It drops and so to prevent keys from moving up and down properly. Is it easy to fix the fallboard? I am asking so is because I do not have time to ask a technicial to look at it until weekend and I am afraid that by then the piano will be gone. Any advise on how much it will cost to fix the fallboard would be appriciated.

Sliverwood, thanks for your reply. I checked and the desk button is missing. Do you know where I can purchase desk buttons to stop the fallboard from falling?
Thanks

I have come across desk buttons at Home Depot, and also Mohawk Finishing Supplies. Not sure where you are located. In Canada Pianophile has a retail catalogue. They have all sorts of them. You could also have a look at the piano supplies here on this forum: http://www.pianosupplies.com/
