Hey guys,
I just wanted to order a Fp7f, but today I saw that the prices in Germany have increased from 1799 Euro to 1899 Euro in ALL shops during the last days. Hmmm, that makes me thinking again, because the price beforehand was my absolute limit... In contrast to that, Music store in Cologne has a very nice bundle offer for the Kawai MP-6 (which I was also thinking off, however I was more comfortable with the fp7f). They sell it with K&M stand and ESI nEar 05 eXperience monitors for 1499 Euro, which sounds very great for me.
I will go and try both again, but I have to be honest, I think my main focus shifted from the fp7f to the MP6...

I noticed this aswell. I have had the fp7f on bookmark for a while now on the thomann website, and I have been checking its price very often, and today its price shot up I was thinking maybe It'd drop by a few hundred then I could afford it, but hey It went up by nearly a 100 quid All the time I had been checking it was around 1497 on thomann site, now its up to 1583 pounds. That pretty much rules that out then.

First signs of a new financial crisis?

It seems with Roland models as with some others, the prices keep going up until news of a replacement model starts a free fall online.

Yeah, people often talk about prices of digital pianos coming down (like we see happening in other electronics), but in the short run it seems like we see them going up more often. Quality goes up, but price seldom comes down (unless things are discontinued, at which time it becomes hard to find the old model).
