Just a silly musical pun. Hoping some posters will give us some more puns to enjoy.

There is actually a piece by that name:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zZ-nvkykUQ

Max Keenlyside is a terrific stride pianist, but you may not enjoy the introduction where he plays the piece mostly straight. If so, try skipping to 1:12.

Fantastic!!! But I disagree with those that say Chopin would have love it. He would slap that guy silly with his white glove....

This reminds me of Keats "Ode Knock Cretian Urn."
"Heard melodies are sweet, but those unheard are sweeter." This version might also be sweeter if it remained unheard!! shocked

I had to do eine kleine Google search for help with that... but figured it out when I saw mention of "Wolfie" in connection with the title! It deserves a loud groan of exasperation... that's like the applause for any truly bad good pun.

I'm a very ancient, serious Mendelssohn fan.

Did you know Rachmaninoff composed a symphonic poem as a tribute to Jerry Garcia?

It's titled "I love the Dead."
