It's Fun to Play the Piano ... Please Pass It On!
Good morning everyone! It's a little looney around here today. *sighs*
PPP: I'm almost scared to watch those videos!
Enjoy:
That vid you posted Becca got me thinking about Baz Luhrmann's direction on the movie Romeo and Juliet, which, for some reason (overdone symbolism perhaps?), got me thinking about the movie Tommy, which got me thinking about Ann Margret, which got me thinking about this:
That's the power of Elvis, he didn't even have to tell the band what to play, he's just that damn good.
Really brilliant Eglantine, I loved those posts, and will check out more, I personally feel that electronica has still got a lot to offer and many new sounds and concepts to thrill us with, I dont believe it has been fully explored just yet!!
BeccaBb, I love number one crush by garbage, and I love shirley manson, who is just as good an actress playing catherine weaver in the sarah conner chronicles as she is lead singer of garbage.
I would definately let her have sex with me , and more than just the once as well.

classic! and this "was" a one of a kind wax cylinder... ooops!
I had been watching the "other" arguament progress, on a number of other threads, untill it got so nasty and personal, the mods stepped on it... Which seemed to take ages and folk got away with a lot of bad behaviour to each other. Then another thread developed, which also got stopped as you saw.
Then I followed the links from the first thread, and the guy had got banned from another site entirely for doing , well basically the same stunt.
Now it is started up again in the Digital pianos forum, i guess its just a matter of time.

I can't believe I missed both.. I don't know, something about the wars in Pianist Corner make me feel like I'm getting a present from the universe. I can feel my face light up and crave popcorn.
Maybe I should go read now so I can stop craving King Cake. Many things about Mardi Gras irritate me. King Cake, however, does not and I wish it would.
Breaking news, a ferry has just gone down off the coast of papua new guinea, 330+souls onboard and so far only 28 rescued, for some reason the distress was answered by Australia rather than papua new guinea, which means a lot of time in getting there was wasted.
This is much different than the concordia, the loss of life may be far worse, and also it is very different from the hollywood film the "Titanic"
just in case anyone was wondering, but I bet they weren't, not after last time and everything, what with leonardo de craprio not actually being there, or kate winslett singing and dancing, etc.

Eglantine , I believe a "small" and "uncontrolled" warfare did indeed start in the Pianists corner twice, but was nearly " nipped in the bud" by the mods, it may break out again in the digital forums, or may remain calmer.
To celebrate groundhog day, I dare Eglantine to put all her cds in cardboard boxes, and then reshelf them.
Lol. There is probably more chance of Wayne renouncing Lady ga ga than that happening again I bet!

He he, you are so right, Rossy. I still have 2 boxes left, but I'm waiting until I've finished the painting and re-positioned the Benno racks from good ol' Ikea.
Meantime, as I prep and paint behind the radiator and painting the ceiling, I'm listening to another blast from the past (stupidly priced CDs now redux!), the Bark Psychosis album Hex:
Currently working on: F. Couperin - Preludes & Sweelinck - Fantasia Chromatica J.S. Bach, Einaudi, Purcell, Froberger, Croft, Blow, Frescobaldi, Glass, Couperin 1930s upright (piano) & single manual William Foster (harpsichord)
Good morning everyone. I'm just dropping by. I'm working on my Desert Island stuff. Answering Rossy's questions is the easiest part. The 8 music choices is definitely a challenge! It's fun, however. Back to it before I head to work. I'll check in later.
