Alright, I'd really appreciate some feedback on this one. I'm preparing this sonata for Masters auditions this summer and as hard as I try, several passages just aren't clean. Although there is some technical sloppiness, the tempo and the affect are correct. I know I'm in the minority here, but I'd prefer to sacrifice some accuracy to hit the tempo and "feeling" that I'd like to achieve. However, I'd obviously like to have it as clean as possible!

I think a lot of my sloppiness stems from really weak fingers - I can play the Chopin Op. 10, No. 1 etude at tempo (more or less), but No. 2 is impossible to play accurately even at half tempo.

Any finger exercises anybody can recommended? I'd like to clean this movement up, but it feels like I'm beating a dead horse at this point. Oh, and sorry about the memory lapses - still a work in progress!
