I am using Galaxy Vintage D with Kontack 5 player-

Does anyone know how to select a different Drive where I have copied the Library to-ie I first loaded the Library to my D drive and now I have copied it to another Drive (MY E Drive) and I can not find a way either in Galaxy Vintage D or Kontack 5 to now select the new Drive location E for use of the Library?

In advance Thanks

Jack

Try clicking on Add Library, under the Libraries tab in the browser.

If you've moved a library, tell Kontakt that you've removed it. Use the little "gear", marked with the #1 yellow arrow, below.

To add a new (or moved) library, tell Kontakt about it. Use the Add Library button, marked with the #2 yellow arrow.

That does not work it says Vintage D Library already exists--

You've first removed Vintage D using the "little gear"?

Does "doesn't work" mean that ...
- It won't run?
- It produces gaps and crackles?

Jack-

Try the Kontakt 4 player. I found that Galaxy played fine with Kontakt 4 Player, but greatly increased latency when using Kontakt 5 Player. You too might get better results with Kontakt 4 Player.

Can you tell me your computer specs?

Mine runs fine on an old laptop:
- 1.73 GHz Core Duo
- 2 GB RAM
- 80 GB 7200 RPM SATA drive
- Windows XP
- Kontakt 5 and Vintage D (or Ivory 1.5 with asHost)

This box is a little bit more than marginal, but there's not a whole lot of margin.
So if your box is appreciably less capable, I'd say you'll need to upgrade it.
