Well, first of all I hate to think that anyone would ever have to go to war....so I feel the seriousness of your musical idea but I don't feel anything about it that seems march like.

Well... It is not march like march. It is only "march"-kind. And, it is only emotion: there are not a lot of ideas behind this theme. But thanks for your comment any way.

I wonder if the title "Little Boys" has suffered in translation? It implies uncaring, un-thinking children playing at war. Is this what you intended?

Rather, it is that despite all the dirt of all past wars, our children (boys) continue to play "war" games (twenty years ago with toy guns in the yard, and now - with virtual guns in computer games). Because it is "necessary" to educate the boys so that they could fend for themselves. And then our boys do not come home... And while the boys will play "war", will not stop any real war. But I do not blame anyone - how can I judge if from early childhood our boys were educated to became a "soldiers", and our girls - to became a "wifes" who have to wait for the return of their soldiers husbands home. I myself played "war" when I was small... This why I call this piece "Little boys march" (I know - it is absolutely not "march" in musical terms; but it is "march" in another sense. At least for me).
