Hi, I just turned 14 yo. I am learning Mozart piano concerto no. 21, k. 467, the assigned concerto for a competition in this coming summer. I like Serkin, Perahia, and particularly Robert Levin's cadenza(s). I went online and wanted to buy cadenza sheet music, but cannot find any of them. Can you help and provide me some information about how to find any of these cadenzas?

I don't think you'll find Levin's - he improvises the cadenza on the spot. Don't know about Serkin or Perahia. Dinu Lipatti's excellent cadenza for K467 is published. It's a bit long, but I play my own abbreviated version of it.

Bennevis, thanks. Yes, Levin improvises on the spot. I was once attending his master class. He is a genius. I knew it will be hard to find any version of his cadenzas. I have a copy of Lipatti's cadenza. Although it is lovely, I wish I could have something that sounds more like Mozart.

Lipatti does indulge in a few un-Mozartian modulations, but I, er, replace them with my own more stylish ones... cool grin
