Hi all:
I recently purchased a Yamaha cp5 - great sound - but poor manual. I spent several hour creating my own grid of the instrument's preset (1, 2 and 3 A-D) default performances, but can't figure out from the manual how to use the voice and split and many other functions. It should be much easier.
Has anyone made a youtube or other video walking through basic functions? Most immediately, I could use help determining how to split the keyboard to have the base line play a different performance than the trebble.
Regards,
Brian

Brian, the most important piece of information is to know that depressing a button quickly or depressing and holding it down for a second produces different results.
That is mentioned in the manual but like so many, I thought I could just skim the manual and figure things out on my own.
Now that I understand how it works, it's not so difficult, but it is not intuitive ... and you must know that depressing a button and holding it for a second produces a different menu than just quickly depressing and releasing.
