Legacy 1928 Grand PianoComing out later today. The demos do sound amazing, very fluid and convincing. The only thing stopping me from getting it is the foot pedal noise, they sounded very unpleasant in the demos.

Legacy 1928 Grand PianoThe only thing stopping me from getting it is the foot pedal noise, they sounded very unpleasant in the demos. On their website, it says ". . . Pedal Noise Volume Control". Also, the video tutorial demonstrates the adjustment of this parameter, and it does sound like it can be effectively reduced: 1928 Legacy Steinway Piano Demonstration

It's actually hard to determine what the piano sounds like, since the demos are drenched in reverb and effects, albeit very good sounding reverb. I'd be happier to hear a dry version, followed by the same demo with reverb applied, and perhaps less reverb.
No mention of resonance, or progressive pedal control.

Just got a reply from 8DIO, yes the Legacy 1928 Steinway Grand has sympathetic resonance in the samples and it cannot be switched off; I don't think there's progressive pedal control though. Think I'll get it this week. Some quick sound clips added : Legacy Close 1 Legacy Player 1 Legacy Close + Player 1 Legacy Close 2 Legacy Close + Player 2 The Close and Player files are reverb free, the Close + Player files are a mix of the 2 mic perspectives with reverb.
