The Goldberg is fun. As is most Bach I have played. Recently, I played the G major toccata, which is great fun to play. Never get bored it (yet, if that will ever come...) smile

A minor P&F from WTC Book II
A minor Two-Part Invention

I think the key is a coincidence...

I love the Aria too. .. and the first variation to add some sparkle a punch. I think it is my favorite piece altho I love the C# minor fugue (WTC 1 / 4) with great intensity.. it's pretty hard.

I can't get enough of Bach.

There are some tocattas (relatively rarely played) that are awesome pieces.. especially the E minor.. what I am working on now.. ( here is a you tube performance. it's really a blast to play I actually skip the whole first part and start with the toccata.. my bad. (skip the first 4 minutes if you are short of time on this video).

You want me to choose just one???? Impossible. The Aria is lovely but I am especially fond of the keyboard concerti...all of them.

Hardly any point in choosing but if cornered I'd probably go with the C minor partita.

It is an impossible task to choose one single composition.

Today, I played the Courante from Partita No. 4. It is, without a doubt, ONE of my most favorite Bach pieces to play. It is so incredibly uplifting and reassuring.

+1

But such a sacred and home-felt delight,
Such sober certainty of waking bliss,
I never heard till now.
