The Ann Schein concert last night was OUTstanding. I was so tired by dinner that I almost went home but she was incredible. Talk about virtuoso...flawless, musical and technically brilliant. She played: Beethoven Sonata in E flat major Ravel Sonatine Debussy L'isle joyeuse Liszt Tarantella Chopin Sonata # 3 in Bm I'm inspired to make my Chopin more musical. Thanks so much for the heads up on this one. I will be sure to put it my calendar for next year. Karen Thanks Karen. Yeah I got good feedback, with nice comments on many aspects of the piece I played. They noted it was a little lacking in dynamics, and they're dead on, that's an area I could stand to improve in. They told me they might be able to provide me with a recording of the performance I did in the showcase recital, and if so I will certainly post it. _________________________ Previously known as NorwegianForest a long long time ago right here in this very forum.
