Recently came across this performance of Liszt's 12 Transcendental Etudes on YT

from the Miami International Piano Festival

Outstanding performance.
As great as I know the set is, I so frequently here random (and poorly performed) selections that I sometimes forgot how remarkable the entire work truly is. I can't imagine the sweat that must have been pouring from Gekic after this.
I've heard Gekic perform a few times (being based here in FL) and in addition to his ridiculous technical capabilities, his readings are always inspired and memorable for me. Here in the set of etudes, from the first Preludio in C you can tell that you're in for a great and unique performance. His reading of No 4 is one of the best I've ever heard.

For me,
No 9 - Jorge Bolet
No 11 - Kissin hands down

12 - Berezovsky, I think this is one of the only pieces he does really well. It also suits him very well.

I like Gekic's CD of these etudes very much, but overall, I think Lazar Berman owns all of them!
