I thought the piansts on the forum would enjoy this.... PBS Arts needed a location to record an interview for their online video series "Quick Hits". They were interviewing Steinway Artist Yuja Wang. (I obviously didn't turn them down!) They recorded Yuja performing three pieces on our model D that we keep in our recital room. If any of you have been following her career, you'll know what an exciting artist Yuja is. An Awesome talent. Incredible technique. Thanks Keith. Funny - In the video when she finishes playing the final piece, (Liszt) she says "This piano's nice".
I had to watch the clip of the Strauss Polka a few times to comprehend how fast her hands are moving.

Gavin, Yuja is a great artist! We have provided Bosendorfer pianos for her several times for Philly area recitals. In fact, once after a concert that she did at a local venue, she, the concert committee chair, two string players (one was Jose Maria Blumenschein), and I had dinner together. (The event was a dinner/concert) She was such a mature artist and played so beautifully that when I asked how she enjoyed the piano, I expected a thoughtful analytical response. What she said was, "That piano was Awesome! I guess kids that are mature artists are still kids.  Enjoy the event. Yuja rocks!

I didn't know she was now a Steinway artist. I guess she won't be using our Bosies much anymore.
