You might get further with this on the Digital & Synth list.
On this list we're not allowed to say that the AvantGrand has any problems.

I had a very similar problem with my M&H BB....turns out, thanks to Bill Bremmer, it was a lose screw at one of the sostenuto rail supports that was left over from the removal of the sostentuo rail. At that time, we had not re-installed the rail, so the screw was vibrating and causing a similar sound that you are getting. I would look for something loose like a screw or similar. It also could be some piece of metal on the soundboard. If you have a vacuum cleaner that has an exhaust port, or a yard leaf blower, try blowing/cleaning out the soundboard with either. Digital keyboard instruments don't have soundboards. That's one of the problems. I doubt that it has a sostenuto either. At least not a mechanical one. ddf

i hear the same buzzing sound if my mechanical metronome (in a closed position) is on my avantgrand N3. something in the metronome seems to resonate at a certain frequency. as Dave B suggested, it could be the lamp, or it might be anything else on or close to the piano. try eliminating the objects around the piano and see if the problem goes away. if not, there is probably something lose in the piano itself.
