A while back some of you guys were discussion running HiFi speakers with DP's and you were mentioning some amplifiers you can get online direct that were good and reasonably priced. I can't find the thread. If you remember it can any of you point me in the right direction ?

I'd buy from ebay. You have a local Oz version ebay, yes? Prices here in the US are quite reasonable.

Thanks guys but it wasn't any of those, it was like a online store that sold these noname brand power amps for about $100 that a few guys were recommending.

Keyboard amps? Usually people here recommend against them, unless you are using them in an environment where sound quality is not paramount and portability is.

Oops, duh, he was talking about hi fi. Sorry, responded before reading more carefully.
I hate that the word "amp" is used for both powered speakers and signal amplifiers. I made the opposite mistake recently in a different thread.

Strange. I never think of terms like "reasonably priced" and "cheap" as part of the Doc's vocabulary. I think some poser has hacked his account!
