i traded my nordc2 for the roland G8 with the arx electric piano expansion
I must say I miss my nord but I think I got the better of the deal.

the guy I traded with currently has a nord stage piano so now he has matching instruments
and me I have a good quality board to really dig into,

trly I miss my nord and I will have some remorse for a little while
and my studio looks empty without that fire engine red organ into

You are in the honeymoon period of ownership with the Roland and the Nord should be the last thing on your mind! If you are missing it already then maybe this doesn't bode well?

And on that positive note, good luck with it!

Oh, I'd like one too. But I'd have to trade: my keyboard, monitors, subwoofer, mixer and 4 modules and still a goodly amount of cash.

Too bad it doesn't come in red.

lol it I just did the trade a few hours ago and I think i feel like i never got a chance to really dig into the nord

but i do have a hammond A100 in the living room once i get that in my studio with a ventilator I should be alright.

I think I just like the idea of having an organ in my studio
I stopped playing the nord because my pedals were stolen
so now maybe I can sort of start over and put that bad scene behind me

Hmmmmm ...you traded a C2 for a Fantom G8 ????
I can't really say I love the Fantom G but it does have its followers.

I hope it works out for you, maduro! I too, trade one keyboard to finance another. Usually no regrets, although I have been known to return to a board that I have gotten rid off. Doesn't always make the most financial sense, but, my excuse is that I'm a musician!

Lawrence

PS - You can always get your G8 painted red!

Well he's got it ....and he's promised to return it a nice matte black with polished wood ends .... I'm looking forward to seeing how it looks (I think MUCH better) If only he could stick another 4gb of flash in it.

Well, if he could do *that*, I think even I would be prepared to have my Electro 3 butchered!
