There will be only one Horowitz but who's to say there won't be someone else just as special in his or her own right? Yes, it is possible to be great, fantastic, breathtaking in one's own name, with one's own talents and style. Every pianist is different.

Well,if Glenn Gould wasn't the most open-minded pianist i think he was atleast the most experimental one and the greatest interpreter of Johann Sebastians Bach's music.
And when he plays Ludwig Van Beethoven's - Moonlight Sonata third movement i love he's new style to the piece.

But music performance, conducting, and composing? These have neither focused goals nor objective ways to measure achievement.
