I think we've been down this road before ala Frank's new piano. So let the ignoring begin. I've never seen a more creative group of "ignore"amises than the group here.

OH, NO! Not another thread we have to ignore. These things last forever! How long did it take to get rid of the last one?

ddf As I recall the last one was titled, "Please ignore ..." This one sounds more like a command, and thus lacks the politeness that the other one had. As a result, I think I will not be inclined to ignore this one.

I’ve come to the conclusion that certain things on Piano World are ignored by default… (I won't say who or what ). So, we shouldn’t have to be told or prompted to “ignore”. We already know what and who to ignore and what and who not to ignore. Of course, as with all things in general, there are exceptions to every rule, and from time to time those of us who are usually ignored are taken seriously. Rick

ddf As I recall the last one was titled, "Please ignore ..." This one sounds more like a command, and thus lacks the politeness that the other one had. NOW I understand why I'm ignored...and I'm wondering why more haven't ignored this thread... Oh, they will…they will. It just takes a while for the momentum of the thing to kick in. Then inertia takes over. (Sorry, just trying to get something—however tenuous—relating to technical into the topic we’re ignoring.) ddf

Does ignoring have momentum? Wouldn't that imply inertia? And wouldn't that imply that PW threads are under Newton's Laws?

^ Aw, that line was in a PG film! Can't help it. Just finished "Mozart's Letters, Mozart's Life" And yeah.. Backwards Land did exist, both for him and Nannerl. I was pleased to see that wasn't a movie invention.

Some things are just hard to IGNORE! Some ignore threads have turned out to be the funnest! Go ahead, IGNORE this! . . . Think I've been in here 4 times! What a ridiculous photo to put in a thread like this. Putting a piano on the neck of a giraffe—talk about cruelty to animals—the SPCA is going to be on you Real Soon Now. ddf

I think it's very inappropriate to put pictures like this on a piano forum.
A zebra necking with a giraffe.
