The tip-o-Texas (Brownsville) is on the same latitude as Ft. Lauderdale and is on the major north/south bird migratory pathway. This site is in an old growth sabal palm forest and attracts those migratory birds you Yankees see all summer. We have a wary bird called a green jay that is very hard to walk up on to see. They abound here and so do the game bird, the chachalacas.

Best viewing is in the morning, but activity still around all day, just not as frequent. View it in full screen mode and if you use Google Chrome, you won't get the ad that I.E. allows, a short but irritating one.

Enjoy and post your comments. http://www.ustream.tv/channel/sabal-palm-sanctuary
