Dear friends, I have a problem in this task. The jack not return to its position under the noise.(so the action remain unhooked).Must the hammershank to rest on the hammer rest rail? Must the abstract be supported by the jack or the repetition spring? Thank you. Regards

If I understand correctly, you are working on a Blüthner with a Patent Action.

In this action, the hammer shank rests on the rail and the jack needs a little bit of lost motion to slide back under the abstract. This is very similar to upright regulation.

The abstract is supported by the spring.

Are you in Mexico?

Yes, the shank must rest on the rail. I learned that one the hard way...

Andres, did you find the page on the Blüthner web site, where Blüthner publish Advice on how to produce a good touch with the Blüthner action in a Blüthner Grand. Please forgive my mentioning this if you have seen it already.
