Hello,
My wife and I are considering purchasing a Charles Steiff 1928 5'3 Baby Grand Piano. It has the original ivory's in perfect condition. New Pins, New Hammers, New Strings, New Felts, and has been refinished. It plays and looks beautiful. The serial number is 43704. Does anyone know what the value of this piano is? I do not want to over pay. I have pictures of the piano.
Thanks, Anton Brooks 703-926-2292

The value will depend on a number of things that cannot be determined without seeing the piano, including how well whatever work was done on the piano actually is and the local market. Your best bet would be to hire an independent piano technician to evaluate the piano for you.

Great advice, BDB... And, welcome to the Piano World forums, aeb! You might get more feedback/responses on the price if you could share what the seller is asking for the piano… (reverse osmoses ) Good luck with your decision. Rick
