I have an old baby grand that was left to me by my mother.

Here is a link to pictures:

I would like to know the estimated age, rough estimate of value, and if anyone would like to buy or sell it for me. I was planning to move and cannont keep it. I was a church secretary for almost nine years and my medical bills wiped out my savings. The church laid off a lady that had been working for the church for 12 years while she was fighting pancreatic cancer. I made the mistake of speaking up about it. I had a heart attack a few months later and was then laid off. They pretty much got rid of anyone who wasn't family. I hoping that selling this piano might get us by while i look for work. Been very difficult finding jobs in my area. Anyway, thank you for your consideration.

Pierce Piano Atlas lists serial number 61598 somewhere between 1855 and 1860. The old-style tuning pins suggest it has not been re-strung. Your best bet is to get a piano technician to evaluate it for you in person.
