I know X stands aren't everyones cup of tea, but my legs aren't that long so it won't be much of an issue for me, question is if you had to choose from one of these two:

They are both the same price, what is the difference? I am very new to this so any pointers would be much appreciated.
I have a yamaha p95 if that makes any difference...

All I have is an x-stand myself and I don't like it at all.

I prefer this:

or this:

They're a little more money, but better in my opinion.

If you go for X stand, it has to be double X, not single, which dances way too much.
Also, if it is made of aluminum, it's surprisingly lightweight, but this material is softer and even double X will move, unlike steel one. But steel one will be heavier. I have both; I prefer playing on steel, but on the road aluminum rules.

Hmm thanks guys, now that I think about it I think Z stand would be best for me due to the amount of limited space I have. Indieleap, that is a great price for a Z stand, a similar one here sells for about $140 frown

When I bought my Roland V-Piano, I ordered a KS-G8 Roland stand, because, with my previous DP (a Yamaha P-85), I used a X stand and it was not stable enough for my taste. Until the Roland stand arrives, the shop lent me a Hercules KS140B double X stand.
Finally, I ended up by keeping the Hercules stand for my V-Piano, and putting my Roland VK-77 on the KS-G8 smile.
