This is me playing one of the songs I composed a while back.. I decided to upload me playing it to get some of your opinions please excuse the quality of the sound its been recorded through my digital camera... Please be gentle i'd rather have the varnished truth instead of the unvarnished truth http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEvPPi_dcFo

Nice rhythm - but I kept waiting for the tune to go somewhere. I kept hearing the same repeated idea over and over again. Take me on a journey somewhere interesting, not in a circle please.

I enjoyed the song. It actually did "take me somewhere". After listening to it only once I think I heard two choruses and I think it may have a AABA structure because I think I heard a bridge. Can you share some of the structure of the tune with us, DeeMax?

I enjoyed listening to your composition and performance. I too compose/write a lot of my own songs, and the originality alone is unique. However, something in your recording that caught my attention more so than the music itself was the “thud” of the digital piano keys. It was almost like a bass drum was pounding every time you played a note. The composition itself was pretty nice. Keep up the playing and composing! All the best. Rick

Hi,yeah Youre right there is 2 different choruses...i just thought it would sound better than 2 choruses that are exactly the same..suppose thats why i posted it here to see what people think and get as many opinions as posable..thanx for your complement glad you enjoyed it.
Hi and Thanx Rickster.. I know, i go a bit hard on the keys...but the proper recorded version you dont hear that at all its only because i used my digital camera instead of recording it into the digital pianos memory.
Thanx again.
