Mr. Otake was in my house over the weekend,

First of all I have to appreciate and thank the Shigeru Kawai for such a magnificent service. I was honored to be the host of Mr. Otake (Shigeru MPA). I prepared a list for him and he went through all the items one by one patiently and did a magic. I could not believe that a perfect piano could get even better!!!

I myself was laughing to some of my requests but he said with lot of respect, I will try and do my best, believe it or not he made the BASS more powerful. I wanted the highest three octaves 8% mellower, OHHH MY GOD with needling he converted the range to exactly what I wished. GUYS I'm in heaven when I touch my piano, he adjusted the action all the keys, to make the story short he was the whole day in my house and all the items in request list got the ultimate satisfaction. My dream was to be able to have a piano with Shigeru touch and Boesendorfer sound. If my SK7 does not sound better than a Boesie definitely is not worse.

Thanks for the story -- but feel free to tell us everything! Did he expect to stay there all day working on your piano? Did he take time out for lunch or anything? Did you ask him any questions, like does he travel to the states often? I'm curious as whether they have a certain number of techs wandering around the states semi-permanently or do they stay in Japan and then just pop over as needed and then back to Japan. Congrats on a wonderful piano as well!
