I’m looking for piano music that has a Spanish flavor to it that would be playable by a intermediate level player. Perhaps there is some Spanish guitar music transcribed for piano? Maybe some piano works by Spanish composers? Perhaps there are some newer works that feature the “Spanish Sound�
Enrique Granados (1867-1916) has a collection called Twelve Spanish Dances which are considered to be intermediate in difficulty. Granados also wrote piano music which is considered to be quite difficult.
I am currently working on Spanish Dance #5, which is also known as "Playera" or "Andaluza". I've really been enjoying this piece and plan to work on Spanish Dance #2 (Oriental) soon.

Oo, I really like this Mompou. Has that faraway Debussy/Satie feel but somehow warmer. I just put Scenes d'Enfants on 'the list'.

You can't do better than Albèniz's Asturias, made famous by John Williams et al in guitar arrangements. It's actually an original piano work despite sounding like a guitar piece. And it's a lot easier to play than it looks. Honestly .

Sevilla is a blast to play, I learned it a couple of years ago. But as with all Albeniz, what seems straightforward turns out to be very difficult. I've learned (and tried to learn) many Albeniz pieces, and most of them are very demanding, but in a way you don't notice until you physically try to play them!
