This custom search works much better than the built in one and allows searching older posts.

Good afternoon - I am relocating from CT to GA, and my Mason and Hamlin BB7 is currently in the hands of Walter piano transport. I need to measure the size of the casters to buy caster cups before the piano arrives - but the piano is currently in the hands of Walter piano!
There are these caster cups available in the large size (piattino) that interest me but I need to know whether they will fit the BB7 casters. Inside diameter of 3-1/2".
Anyone know or care to measure their BB7 casters as a favor? ;-) Emailed m&h but no reply yet.

I think you mean for a current model BB. Older ones had smaller casters, so you should confirm.

Well, this BB7 was bought about 7 years ago - I'm assuming that counts as 'new'?

Well, this BB7 was bought about 7 years ago - I'm assuming that counts as 'new'? The casters of my 8 year old BB fit nicely inside a caster cup with a 3.5 inch inner diameter. You should be OK with the caster cup you would like to buy.
