Hello,
I'm an adult beginner looking for an affordable acoustic. Someone is offering a 1999 petrof V baby grand for $5500 and I'd like to ask the experts on the forum if it's a reasonable price. It has sun fading discoloration on most of the left side but it sounds good. Can't find much about that model on the web. Any warnings about this brand or model? Your help is much appreciated.

Noticeable sun damage in a 13 year old piano seems like a lot. I would be wondering what other damage that much sun (or neglect) has done.

Not a good point.

A piano placed near a window will commonly experience sun fading in 5 years or less.
