Sorry about the low quality of the recording equipment at this point. I really need to invest in some soon.

Here are two pieces from Kinderszenen I recorded at church yesterday. Comments and critiques are welcomed and appreciated.

Traumerei Op.15 no. 7

Kind im Einsclummern Op. 15 no. 12

Hi pianogirl! I listened to Traumerei. Very nice. I saw you shake your head at 1:21.. yes, a little flub, but not that noticeable so don't worry about it! smile

It was a little difficult with the recording/microphone to discern dynamics, but I liked your interpretation very much. The only suggestion I might have would be to watch your hand position. I saw a few times there was a backwards curve in your hand, where your wrists were very high and your first knuckles were bent backwards to keep your fingers in proper playing position. Be careful of this..

Thank you! I will look at that. I'm glad I made video. I noticed a few things I wasn't aware of.

Traumerai is a bit overplayed for my taste, but loved the "child falling asleep"... Havent heard it for a while... Brings back memories...
You have a natural touch for this kind of music I think. Not too much emotinality not too much drama. Just beautiful, plain and simple as it should be played - like a child falling asleep

:-)
