YiYingWu plays Liszt Mephisto Waltz
It was one of the piece I didn't want to play the past years. I can't remember how many times I play it in public, and feel so tired with it. However, I finally figure out some points this year and made it getting a little bit better.

Was that flourish after the presto (5:50) your own idea or was it an alternate by Liszt? In either case, I liked it. Solid performance! You might get a few more views in the subforum for recordings in the 'pianist corner'.

I don't recognize it from the three arrangements I have. I actually don't think I've heard that played before. But I agree, it worked.

YiYingWu- nice job. I agree with the notes you wrote in the youtube video--some parts felt a little tired and/or stiff, like you were "going through the motions" but I still think you performed it well.

It is my idea, I used to make many arrangements with this piece but getting rid of them in the end. Thanks for the appreciation.
