Just a very solid rendition of this Sonata, ABCV -- it had satisfying contrasts between the propulsive and lyrical sections, and very good attention to maintaining the entire musical arch, from beginning to end -- very important in a one-movement Sonata. Briefly put, very musically intelligent, in addition to being technically crisp and solid. Thanks for sharing this!

Very good indeed!

Comments: I'd make the slow parts even more poetic and relaxed, if possible. I think you could broaden the triple forte "con elevazione" section somewhat more to make it really, really huge - it needs to feel expansive, even ecstatic.

And that troublesome pianissimo right at the end that nobody seems to be able to get quiet enough - well, keep trying. It's really hard to drop from fff to pp in an instant, especially when it's all in the upper part of the keyboard and at a climatic moment in the music. You have to have a very clear image of what that should sound like and what the musical effect should be.

Hi wr,

Thanks a lot for the suggestions.

Sorry for getting back to you so late; just came back home from the camp.
