Statistics on acoustic piano sales?

I've done a few searches but I can't find the sales figures for acoustic pianos vs. digital pianos for anything more recent than 2007. Have sales increased, decreased, or are they staying about the same since the global economy (in general) has been sluggish. With the economic slow-down, has the sale of uprights perked up a little or do more buyers go for a digital until they're ready for grand? Has the sale of upper end pianos started to come back?

Check out Music Merchandise Review (MMR) archives. They publish a good set of stats on the piano industry.

I read Steinway announced a bad Q2 - 2012:
* from April to June: 50,4 Mio USD, i.e. 7% less than Q2 2011 (- 4% Steinway grands and - 13.6% Essex + Boston).
* Q1 + Q2 2012: 94,5 MIO USD, i.e. - 3.3% than same period 2011 (- 2.7% Steinway and - 9.6% Essex + Boston)

What % of their revenues is from Europe? And how much of the drop is due to the weakness in the euro?
