This custom search works much better than the built in one and allows searching older posts.

For some reason, the countdown I had said that I had until 7PM Pacific time. Perhaps this was due to daylight savings time or something like that, but I'm not sure, since I didn't write the code for it. Anyway, I came to my computer to submit with what I thought was a good 10 minutes to spare, and the countdown even said 10 minutes remaining (yes, my time zone is correctly set to Pacific time). I refreshed the page, and the recital had already been closed
Lesson learned: I should look at and note the deadline, not rely on the countdown timer.
Anyway, I figured even though unfortunately I can't be part of the official recital, I can still post the recording I made for it. Here it is, warts and all. All comments (especially with regards to audio quality; maybe I should PM wouter79) welcome
I'll even make it look like the official recital template, and I'll post the video at the end.
