I just checked, and I found out that my PW member number has the digits "666" as part. Excuse me, I have to pray, RIGHT AWAY!

don't worry, my equivalent to the US Soc Sec. # has 666 prominently displayed in it. You get interesting reactions to that.

I think as long as you don't get that number tatooed on your forhead or forhand, you will be okay. smile

When I was in college I was the chief engineer (unpaid) of the college radio station. We needed a new telephone number and 666-6666 was available.

We finally had to change it... every five-year-old playing with the telephone and sometimes a tandem dialer failure (telco equipment) would ring us up.

It was a religious college too... but that didn't bother anyone!

In Norway, the number six is written "seks" and pronounced sex. (How lucky can you get?)

I don't consider biblical references as "superstitions"

So, in this respect, could "666" be the "happy ending" found in Revelations? smokin

Since we're OT--a grad school friend of mine wrote his history Ph.D. dissertation on beliefs about the apocalypse. When we went out to celebrate after his defense, the beer tab came to $6.66. (This was for 4 people, so I'm dating myself--but it was really cheap beer!)

Still trying to figure out a way to connect this with the piano....

I have an opinion on this topic, but I'll keep it to myself.

There is a large diversity of beliefs and faiths, or not, on Piano World and any discussion of religion or religious beliefs, or politics stirs controversy.

Why don't we nip this in the bud... everyone has the right to believe whatever they want to believe.
