I posted Steve Chandler's "Melody" back in Feb., but due to a recording snafu that put a nasty hum in the track, I was never happy with the way it sounded. When I was working on recording Steve's "Consolation" for the upcoming Un-sung Heroes E-cital, I hit on something nice in the mastering part of the recording process and went back to apply that to "Melody." So, here's a version that's easier on the ears than the one I posted in February. Steve's compositions have very intriguing melodies and harmonies. I'm saving "Consolation" for the e-cital, but since I'd already posted "Melody," I thought I'd share the nicer version out here, now. Hope you like it! Chandler--"Melody" (Re-mastered) --Andy

Andy~ Your interpretation and playing brings out the best in this pretty melody. Great work, my friend!

I agree, the interpretation is spot on. Rhythmic security, voicing, pedaling, very fine!
thanks for sharing this.
